The Prince of Reggae Dennis Brown

Dennis Emmanuel Brown known as Dennis Brown was born February 1, 1957 and laid to rest on July 1, 1999. He was a Jamaican reggae singer born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica. During his prolific career, which began in the late 1960s when he was aged eleven, he recorded more than 75 albums and was one of the major stars of lovers rock, a sub-genre of reggae. Bob Marley cited Brown as his favourite singer, dubbing him "The Crown Prince of Reggae", and Brown would prove hugely influential on future generations of reggae singers.

Many people quoted this:

"If they say that Bob Marley is the king of reggae music, then Dennis Brown is the crown prince."

Dennis Brown is truly a great reggae artist, he brings all his soul and energy into his music, and for that we listen to the masterpiece he creates in each song his sings.

In the playlist I have provided you guys with three of my favorite songs from Dennis Brown. The first one is a live performance from Dennis Brown "Revolution". The second song is "Rub a dub Style" and the last one is another version of "Rub a dub Style". Enjoy the Irie sounds and let the music drift you away.

Dennis Brown
